Supervise process pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities at project site ensuring safe execution operational readiness and completion in accordance with the approved schedule and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technicians operators and subcontractors carrying out daily process commissioning activities.
Prepare work fronts testing dossiers drawings procedures tools PPE permits and toolbox talks before starting work.
Supervise chemical cleaning leak testing catalyst loading air or steam blowing inerting package start-up and plant stabilization.
Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO access control barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented.
Guide operators during plant start-up and monitor flow level temperature and pressure to maintain stable operating conditions.
Support DCS activities involving alarms trips logic interlocks permissives and overrides.
Interpret P&IDs process flow diagrams and control narratives and ensure commissioning records are accurate and complete.
Monitor manpower progress tools and spare-part usage and report constraints or required recovery actions.
Coordinate with engineering construction QA/QC HSE vendors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.

Engineering degree or diploma in Chemical Process or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
Practical field experience in process pre-commissioning commissioning plant start-up and stabilization.
Experience supervising technicians operators and subcontractors at project sites.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
