Job Summary
Tractum Plus Technical Services LLC, a prominent construction company in Abu Dhabi, UAE, specializing in contracting services, including swimming pool construction, is seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to join our dynamic team. As a Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in executing concrete work and ensuring structural integrity through your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of steel rebar
- Cut, bend, and secure steel bars together using various fastening techniques
- Install reinforcing steel bars to strengthen concrete structures
- Verify alignment and specifications of steel bars
- Collaborate with contractors and construction workers
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations on-site
Requirements & Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in steel fixing within the construction industry
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings
- Ability to use tools such as rebar tiers and benders effectively
- Strong knowledge of different types of steel and their applications
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Steel Fixing
- Experience working on swimming pool construction projects
