About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Chartering Executive to support the growth of a Dry Bulk shipping business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying chartering opportunities negotiating contracts developing client relationships and maximizing fleet utilization and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure chartering opportunities for Dry Bulk vessels.
• Negotiate voyage and time charter agreements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with charterers brokers traders and shipowners.
• Monitor freight markets and provide commercial intelligence and market insights.
• Manage fixture negotiations and post-fixture follow-up activities.
• Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure successful execution of fixtures.
• Analyze cargo flows market trends and competitor activity.
• Support business development initiatives and commercial growth strategies.
• Prepare commercial reports and market updates for management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Dry Bulk chartering and/or Dry Bulk operations.
• Minimum 5 years of maritime/shipping industry experience.
• Strong understanding of charter parties freight markets and vessel operations.
• Established industry network is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluent English
