Project engineer Bridge Project Experience

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Dubai-based bridge maintenance and construction team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Civil Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in bridge construction bridge maintenance or related infrastructure projects within the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating supervising and delivering bridge works while ensuring compliance with project specifications quality standards safety requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise bridge construction and maintenance activities on-site.
• Coordinate daily operations with project managers consultants subcontractors and clients.
• Monitor project progress ensuring works are completed safely on time and within budget.
• Review engineering drawings specifications method statements and technical submittals.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules resource allocation and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality RTA and other relevant authority requirements.
• Coordinate inspections testing and quality control activities.
• Identify technical issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare project reports progress updates and documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to project stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in bridge construction bridge rehabilitation or bridge maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of bridge structures concrete repair works structural strengthening bearings expansion joints and maintenance methodologies.
• Experience working on UAE infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of project planning quality management and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Additional Information :

• Previous experience on RTA Dubai Municipality or other major UAE infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project documentation processes.
• Certification in project management or construction management is an advantage.
