Job Summary
- Monitor piping fabrication and erection activities.
- Inspect welding activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures and specifications.
- Witness and monitor pressure testing and hydrotesting activities.
- Check welding consumables preheat requirements and post-weld conditions.
- Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings applicable codes project specifications and ITPs.
- Review relevant inspection and testing documentation.
- Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with construction quality and project teams regarding inspection activities.
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping and welding inspection for Oil & Gas projects.
- Good knowledge of applicable ASME codes.
- Good knowledge of hydrotest and pressure-testing procedures.
- Experience in piping fabrication erection and welding inspection.
