Material Controller
Job Summary
- Receive inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders material requisitions and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper material identification tagging and traceability as per ADNOC and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts issues returns and stock balances.
- Coordinate with warehouse procurement QA/QC and construction teams for material availability and distribution.
- Monitor material storage conditions and preservation requirements (coating wrapping shelf life etc.).
- Issue materials to construction teams based on approved material request forms (MRF).
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report shortages damages or non-conforming materials.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC material control procedures and project specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams for material delivery schedules.
- Maintain material status reports stock reports and tracking logs.
- Support project close-out and material reconciliation activities.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in material control warehouse or logistics in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
- Experience working on ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of material management processes inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with construction materials including piping mechanical electrical and civil materials.
- Good understanding of material traceability and preservation requirements in Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
