Marine Insurance - Account Handler

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on new enquiries renewals and daytoday maintenance of assigned accounts in the Marine team.
- Handle all aspects of Account Management including preparation of slips endorsements and renewal statistics.
- Set up new policies and ensure they comply with underwriting requirements.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and problems providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain strong industry knowledge by staying uptodate on relevant regulations and market trends.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters Degree.
- 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience working as a broker technician or as an Account Handler within the Marine Hull or Cargo space and have a passion for Marine Insurance.
- Confident in demonstrating the company values of being accountable entrepreneurial collaborative empowering and disciplined.
- Excellent IT and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
