About the role

We are seeking a junior to mid-level Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to support a fast-pacedfintech business operating across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with seniorcounsel and business stakeholders on a broad range of corporate commercial and regulatorymatters.

Reporting line: Chief Legal Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including service
    agreements SaaS/technology agreements NDAs and vendor arrangements.
  • Support corporate governance entity management and cross-border structuring across
    group jurisdictions.
  • Assist with regulatory and licensing matters liaising with regulators as required.
  • Advise on data protection AML/KYC and consumer protection obligations relevant to
    fintech products.
  • Help develop internal policies templates and compliance processes.
  • Provide practical business-focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with 25 years PQE preferably common law qualified (e.g. England &Wales or another common law jurisdiction).
  • Strong corporate/commercial background ideally with exposure to fintech financial services payments or technology.
  • Familiarity with UAE and/or DIFC/ADGM regulatory frameworks is an advantage (orwillingness to develop it quickly).
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially pragmatic organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
