Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Helper to join our team for a shutdown project. The successful candidate will assist our team of instrument technicians in the maintenance and repair of various instruments and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist instrument technicians in the installation maintenance and repair of instruments and control systems.

- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on instruments and control systems.

- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.

- Keep work area clean and organized.

- Assist in the preparation of work permits and other necessary documentation.

- Participate in safety meetings and trainings.

- Follow instructions and directions from the instrument technicians and supervisors.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience as an instrument helper or in a similar role is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of instruments and control systems.

- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

- Strong commitment to safety.

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends if necessary.
