Housekeeping Attendant Female Only

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeping attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness and order across guest and public areas support daily cleaning operations and contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and tidy guest rooms corridors stairwells and public areas to company standards

Change bed linen make beds and replace towels and amenities

Dust vacuum sweep and mop floors; clean windows mirrors and surfaces

Replenish minibars toiletries and guest supplies as required

Remove rubbish and transport to designated disposal areas

Report maintenance defects and safety hazards to the supervisor

Follow hotel procedures for lost and found items and report accordingly

Comply with health safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with laundry operations when required

Support set-up and cleaning for meetings events and turn-down service as requested

GUEST SERVICE & COMMUNICATION

Provide courteous and professional service to guests and colleagues

Respond promptly to guest requests and special requirements

Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

STOCK EQUIPMENT & RECORDS

Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Report low stock levels and assist with stock rotation

Care for and use cleaning equipment safely and correctly

Complete daily checklists and housekeeping reports as required

TRAINING & PROFESSIONALISM

Attend training sessions and follow standard operating procedures

Support induction of new housekeeping team members when asked

Uphold a professional appearance and follow uniform policy

OTHER DUTIES

Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager

Education / Qualification

Secondary education or equivalent preferred

Work Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping hospitality or a similar environment is desirable

Experience working to high cleanliness standards and time pressures is an advantage

Knowledge

Knowledge of cleaning methods products and safe handling procedures

Awareness of hygiene standards and health & safety best practice

Skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Good time management and organisational skills

Reliable punctual and able to follow instructions

Good communication skills and a polite guest-focused manner

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

Other Requirements

Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required

Right to work in the UK
