Job Summary
Work Description:
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple work fronts.
- Lead and manage foremen skilled workers and laborers to ensure the efficient execution of the works.
- Allocate manpower equipment and materials according to the approved construction program.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings specifications method statements and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers Survey Engineers subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth site operations.
- Monitor daily work progress and report productivity delays and resource requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
- Ensure that all required materials tools and equipment are available before commencing work activities.
- Inspect work areas regularly to verify workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Enforce Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations ensuring all workers comply with approved safety procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify construction issues and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical and operational problems.
- Monitor housekeeping and maintain a clean organized and safe working environment.
- Coordinate inspection readiness by ensuring works are completed prior to consultant inspections.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
- Maintain daily site records including manpower deployment equipment utilization work progress and material consumption.
- Assist in planning and implementing recovery measures to minimize delays and improve productivity.
