Summary:
We are currently looking for a professional and well experienced Dishwasher to join our high-end top class and well known Restaurant in Al Ain/ Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen washing dishes and kitchen equipment and supporting the kitchen team in maintaining a hygienic and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes plates glasses cutlery and kitchen utensils.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and stored.
Dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene standards.
Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dish washing area.
Follow food safety health and hygiene regulations.
Operate dish washing machines and cleaning equipment safely.
Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dishwasher Kitchen Helper or similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Hardworking reliable and punctual.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible shifts weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in a restaurant is an advantage.
Requirements
Minimum 13 years of proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hospitality environment (hotels resorts or similar).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using standard cleaning equipment and chemical products safely and effectively.
Basic understanding of health safety and sanitation practices in hospitality settings.
