Key Responsibilities:
Define and enforce technical standards development protocols and QA/QC procedures for all Tekla-related deliverables
Serve as the key technical liaison between the technical office engineering fabrication and construction teams
Participate in strategic planning to improve BIM and Tekla integration across the organization
Lead and contribute to the design development and maintenance of custom Tekla tools plugins components and automated workflows using Tekla Open API (C#)
Guide the implementation of parametric components custom templates intelligent drawings and automated reporting features
Oversee the integration of Tekla with ERP MIS CNC fabrication systems and other digital platforms
Organize and conduct internal training sessions and workshops on advanced Tekla and steel detailing workflows
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
Minimum 8 years of experience in Tekla Structures development and structural steel engineering
Proven track record of leading Tekla support and development teams in a structural steel environment
Expertise in Tekla Open API (C#) and custom plugin development
Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication practices international detailing codes and structural design standards
Strong understanding of BIM workflows model coordination clash detection and multi-discipline integration
Familiarity with platforms such as Revit Navisworks Trimble Connect and SQL databases is an advantage
