Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead technical design and architecture governance for the migration of Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium clinical systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will ensure secure resilient high-performing solutions that meet healthcare compliance integration and business-continuity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design OCI landing-zone architecture covering compute network storage IAM and security.
- Lead production test training and disaster-recovery migration design.
- Architect hybrid connectivity including FastConnect VCN DNS and Active Directory integration.
- Define database replication and migration strategies using Oracle GoldenGate Data Guard or similar tools.
- Establish performance availability SLA RTO and RPO requirements.
- Lead technical risk assessments cutover planning hypercare and legacy-system decommissioning.
- Collaborate with Oracle Health Security Compliance Infrastructure and clinical stakeholders.
- Prepare solution design documents architecture decision records technical runbooks and change-control documentation.
- Support Cerner Millennium upgrade planning aligned with the OCI migration roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of solution or enterprise architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of cloud migration programme experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of OCI cloud architecture hybrid connectivity and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate Data Guard or similar data replication/migration tools.
- Knowledge of TOGAF Zachman enterprise architecture and data architecture.
- Exposure to HL7 v2 FHIR CCDA healthcare systems and healthcare data security.
- Experience with Teradata IBM Netezza Denodo or data-virtualisation platforms is preferred.
