Job Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud-Cabin Safety Operator to remotely monitor autonomous vehicle activities and provide real-time safety assessment and intervention from a dedicated cloud-cabin workstation.
The role is critical to maintaining safe autonomous vehicle operations and requires excellent concentration judgement and the ability to respond quickly to potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
Remotely monitor autonomous vehicle operations through cloud-cabin and PC-based workstations.
Conduct real-time safety assessments during vehicle operations.
Provide timely and effective intervention when required.
Identify operational risks and issue appropriate notifications or warnings.
Monitor activities relating to hardware and software update testing.
Support road testing and routine autonomous vehicle operations.
Monitor special experience sessions and VIP services.
Support operational and cloud-cabin testing activities.
Escalate safety concerns and operational abnormalities according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate communication with vehicle operators response teams and other operational stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Experience in control rooms command centres vehicle operations fleet monitoring transportation security operations or similar environments is preferred.
Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
Comfortable working extensively with PC-based monitoring systems.
Ability to assess risks and make decisions quickly.
Strong communication and escalation skills.
Ability to remain focused while monitoring multiple operational activities.
Interest or experience in autonomous vehicles and emerging mobility technologies would be advantageous.
