Job Summary

Stand navigational watch as Officer of the Watch (OOW)

Assist in voyage planning and safe navigation of the vessel

Maintain and update nautical charts publications and electronic navigation systems

Operate and monitor radar ECDIS GPS and other navigational equipment

Ensure compliance with COLREGs SOLAS and company safety procedures

Assist in safety drills emergency response and pollution prevention

Maintain navigational logs and records

Requirements

Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency
STCW certification (as applicable)
Relevant sea-time experience
Good knowledge of navigation systems and maritime safety regulations
Ability to work in shifts and under operational pressure
