Job Summary
Sealy Mattress Middle East a leading name in the consumer goods industry is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dedicated finance team. With deep roots in the bedding market and a rich legacy of quality and innovation we serve customers throughout the MENA region. The Accountant will play a vital role in managing financial records ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing accurate financial reporting. This position is perfect for someone who has a passion for numbers and a commitment to excellence and is looking to contribute to the financial integrity of a respected organization in the bedding industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and financial audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth auditing processes.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support in cash flow management and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or finance with preferable experience in the consumer goods industry.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
