Job Summary
A leading government-backed organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Transport Economics Specialist to support the development of a world-class integrated transport system.

Role Overview
The Transport Economics Specialist will play a key role in:

Supporting major transport planning projects including the Comprehensive Land Transport Master Plan and Bus Transport Plan.

Conducting economic feasibility studies for new transport initiatives.

Preparing benchmarking reports on global best practices and advising on strategic improvements.

Engaging with stakeholders to track economic growth and land-use trends across Abu Dhabi.

Reviewing and supervising consultants deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.

Representing the organization in conferences and industry forums.

Assisting in building strategic partnerships with global firms to keep up with transport innovations.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Transport Planning Transport Economics Urban Planning or a related discipline (Masters degree preferred).

610 years of relevant experience (based on nationality criteria).

Strong background in transport economics policy analysis feasibility studies and project evaluation.
-
Excellent communication reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.

Experience in public transport systems land use planning or infrastructure strategy is highly desirable.
