Cloud DevOps / Operations Engineer
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- OS & Networking: Expert-level knowledge of Linux operating systems and TCP/IP protocols. Familiarity with common service components like Nginx and Keepalived.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages specifically Shell and Python.
- Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure: Deep understanding of IaaS/PaaS products and KVM virtualization (compute network and storage technologies).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Solid familiarity with Docker and a strong understanding of core Kubernetes resource objects application management and troubleshooting.
- Operations & Open-Source Tools: Hands-on experience independently deploying configuring and tuning production-grade tools including:
- Databases & Caching: MySQL Redis
- CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins Git
- Monitoring & Logging: ELK Stack Prometheus
- Configuration Management: Ansible
- DevOps Practice: Strong grasp of DevOps principles. Preferred experience in operations automation monitoring system development or release system development.
Soft Skills & Core Attributes:
- Communication: Strong communication coordination and facilitation skills.
- Resilience: High sense of responsibility and proven ability to perform under pressure.
- Problem Solving: Ability to articulate problems clearly and accurately with a track record of complete closed-loop resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal delivery/operations certifications for Tencent Cloud TCE or Alibaba Cloud Apsara Stack (spanning platform compute storage network middleware database or security products).
