Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of MEP Site/Design Engineer in Dubai. Our client is a reputed organization in the Construction / MEP Engineering sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP engineering drawings and layouts.
- Design HVAC ducting piping and electrical systems.
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for execution.
- Review installation drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revisions.
- Ensure adherence to applicable engineering standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD Preparation of engineering layouts and detailed drawings.
- Revit MEP Creation of coordinated BIM models.
- HVAC Systems Ducting design and installation knowledge.
- Piping Systems Design and site coordination.
- Electrical Panels Installation and layout preparation.
Preferred Skills
- BIM coordination experience.
- Quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Site execution and project coordination.
Work Experience Requirements
Experience is not specified in the posting. Typical: 37 years of experience in MEP design and/or site engineering within commercial residential or industrial construction projects is generally preferred.
Education
- Minimum: Typical B.E./ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Preferred: Masters Degree or relevant MEP certifications
- Additional: Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit MEP Certification (preferred)
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
