IVF Gynaecologist, Dubai, The UAE

On behalf of a leading private hospital in Dubai we are seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with specialised expertise in Reproductive Medicine and IVF for a contract of at least 12 months with the possibility of extension.

The hospital is part of an international healthcare group known for its high clinical standards and modern facilities. The patient population consists largely of international European and VIP patients who expect high-quality clinical care excellent communication and personalized service.

The position offers an annual base salary of approximately 00 with the potential for additional commission-based income. Employment income in the UAE is generally not subject to personal income tax.

About the role:
As a Consultant Gynecologist specializing in IVF you will focus on the investigation and treatment of infertility with particular emphasis on assisted reproductive technology (ART) and reproductive medicine.

You will be responsible for the entire treatment process from initial fertility assessments and treatment planning to ovarian stimulation egg retrieval embryo transfer and follow-up care.

This is a dedicated reproductive medicine position and does not involve general obstetric duties or labor and delivery. We are therefore seeking a specialist with extensive hands-on experience in IVF and documented expertise in relevant fertility procedures.

The hospital serves an international patient population some of whom prefer to be treated by a female physician. The employer has therefore expressed a particular preference for female candidates for this position.

You will work closely with embryologists nurses and other specialists within an international multidisciplinary team.

Typical responsibilities:
Investigation and treatment of female and male infertility
Planning and management of IVF and ICSI treatment cycles
Ovarian stimulation and ultrasound monitoring throughout treatment
Performing egg retrieval and embryo transfer procedures
Individualized fertility treatment planning and medical follow-up
Counseling patients on fertility treatments and reproductive health
Multidisciplinary collaboration with embryologists and other healthcare professionals
Contributing to quality improvement patient safety and clinical development

We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology
Has completed formal subspecialty training a fellowship or equivalent advanced training in reproductive medicine and infertility
Has at least five years of relevant clinical experience in fertility treatment following specialist qualification
Has extensive hands-on experience in IVF including egg retrieval and embryo transfer
Has strong expertise in reproductive endocrinology ovarian stimulation and gynecological ultrasound
Can provide a comprehensive and up-to-date logbook documenting clinical experience and procedures performed
Has excellent English communication skills
Communicates confidently and effectively with patients and colleagues
Thrives in a high-volume clinical environment
Is motivated to work in an international performance-driven healthcare setting
Previous experience at a large fertility clinic and documented expertise in advanced assisted reproductive technologies will be considered an advantage.

Working hours:
Six working days per week
Working days of up to 10 hours
Working hours and clinical activity may vary depending on patient volume and the hospitals operational requirements

Salary and benefits:
The base salary is approximately AED 90000 per month equivalent to approximately 265500 per year depending on exchange rates.

In addition to the base salary commission-based compensation may be available linked to clinical activity and procedures performed. This provides the opportunity for higher overall earnings.

The UAE does not impose personal income tax on employment income. However individual tax obligations may vary depending on tax residency and any continuing tax liabilities in your home country.

Licensing and relocation:
The employer provides comprehensive assistance throughout the medical licensing process with a dedicated team guiding candidates from application to approval.

Qualifications specialist training and documented clinical experience will be assessed against the relevant licensing requirements in Dubai. Evidence of advanced training and practical experience in reproductive medicine and IVF will therefore be particularly important.

We also work with a local relocation partner in the UAE who provides practical assistance with moving and settling in. This support is available whether you are relocating independently or bringing your partner or family.

Due to the licensing process relocation arrangements and the time required to establish yourself in Dubai the position is offered with a minimum 12-month contract.
